According to a Center for Disease Control and Prevention report, about 7 in 10 U.S. adults with high blood pressure use medications to treat the condition. The CDC also reported high blood pressure costs the United States about $48.6 billion each year. With healthier choices, we can reduce the amount of medication needed.
